How the TMS Works
The design concept is quite simple, based on a number of excel spreadsheets within each TMS workbook. There are within each workbook comprehensive simple step-by-step instructions for every sheet.
Below is an overview of The Commodity TMS (The same simple steps are applicable to each workbook, which are explained in detail in each workbook).
The Commodity TMS example...‘Open Trades’ sheet Lists the available Commodities Having selected your trade it is simply a matter of entering the required details, ‘Entry Date’ ‘Contract ID’ ‘Expiry Date’ ‘Quantity’ ‘Direction’ ‘Entry Value’.
Go to the ‘Trade Plan’ sheet and complete the following details: Your selected ‘ATR’ and ‘ATR Factor’ ‘Order Type’
Complete the ‘Date’ ‘Open Value’ ‘High’ ‘Low’ and ‘Close Value’ each day you remain in the trade.
The TMS will automatically display what to do according to your rules. The functions are explained fully in each workbook. What are important is when to move your stop and what the new stop should be. The TMS displays all that detail – you just have to action the plan! |
